Verna Band

Founded by Kamyab Sadeghi in 2021, Verna Band was born from a vision to blend Iranian music with pop and jazz, creating a unique fusion style. The name "Verna," meaning "young" in Persian, reflects Kamyab’s inspiration from the youthful spirit of the band members.

Verna’s music integrates Persian classical poetry, with Kamyab composing original pieces that highlight the beauty and power of Persian literature for a global audience. The band rarely performs works by other composers, focusing instead on its own creations to preserve its distinct voice.

Today, Verna Band’s lineup includes piano, drums, bass guitar, oud, tar, setar, and vocals. Over time, various musicians have contributed to and left the band, each adding their own unique touch.
